Hi All,

Well it has been now quite sometime that I have not been able to post on my own blog from past few months. Lately things have been really busy with Cyberax Projects, India Forums and a couple of my own projects which I am working on slowly.

I would like to share a good news that after a long wait of 7 years I have been able to get the Domain: CYBERAX.COM

Whats so Special about it?

Well the story is something like this that in 1999 when I was looking for this domain it was not available as it was registered by another company and I had to chose CYBERAX.NET. So it was always a strong desire to get this domain.

Secondly, I think even the setback of not getting a domain "indiaforum.com" which was on auction at SnapNames and went for a whopping $4350 where we were the runner up as it was certainly out of my set limit. I was on chat with S.Priya (a close friend and advisor) and we decided not to cross our set limit and to invest same money in SEO, Site Promotion through Advertisements and further development of our site "india-forums.com" and the site traffic has almost doubled in 3 months and today we fetch around 60 million pageviews a month. Well we were clear its not just the domain that can drive traffic its the team and the content that runs it.

And guess what that in March 2006 the domain "CYBERAX.COM" was on sale at $2910.

Today Cyberax is a known brand and I foresee a great future with a very strong brand value and web presence. We at Cyberax thought it as a good investment and went ahead with the idea.

Well after one month negotiations with the domain owner on April 19th 2006 we were able to get the control of CYBERAX.COM

The internet is surely changing ... and its one of the costliest virtual stuff I have purchased online so far and I am sure more to follow.
